EARTH VS THE FLYING SAUCERS, 1956

Original U.S. 14"x36" insert poster.

The animation of the eponymous saucers was by Ray Harryhausen. The film was an obvious inspiration for Tim Burton's 'Mars Attacks', and the DVD reissue of the film features a conversation between Burton and Harryhausen. Fine + condition.

Original 1975 Polish first release poster 11"x16".

This smaller Polish poster format, with blank pre-printed areas at bottom for screening details, is uncommon. 'Duel' was originally a television production for ABC's 'Movie of the Week', but its theatrical release (limited in America) made Spielberg's name. V. Fine condition.

Scarce original United Artists portrait still dated to 1961, when Saul Bass designed the poster for UA's Billy Wilder comedy 'One, Two, Three'. Bass is now probably the cinema's most famous film poster designer, and one of the most influential graphic artists generally. Fine + condition.

"Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me." Mike Nicolls wanted no else but Anne Bancroft for the part. Mrs Robinson is written as being twice Benjamin's age, but in reality Bancroft was less than six years older than Hoffman. V. Fine condition.

After a gap of eleven years, Blake Edwards and Peter Sellers reunited for the third of the Pink Panther films. Perhaps against the odds, the result did not disappoint. Master animator Richard Williams ('Who Framed Roger Rabbit') created the bravura title sequence.

Producer and star Beatty's gamble paid off, becoming one of the most powerful figures in Hollywood. Excellent condition.
